Traveling Into Doha Qatar

This is the second article that addresses our experience in Doha Qatar during a 6 months visit as a Fulbright scholar.For the first few days I had a driver that would drive me to the university and back to my apartment. The drive takes only 30 minutes. I tried to familiarize myself with the road by following on a map, but it was hard to find road names. I later came to know that street names were not used in Doha that extensively. People will use land marks to describe the road to a place rather than names of roads.Egypt travel is excellent during the fair times of year. The best weather occurs in spring and fall for a visit. There are many excellent sites of antiquity to visit during Egypt travel, including Aswan. Here is located the mighty Aswan High Dam, as well as the Tombs of the Nobles. The city of Cairo offers the majestic Pyramids and the Egyptian Museum.

Doha, of course, by its nature as the transportation, tourist, and business center of Qatar, is also the center of the vast and profitable hotel industry. There are numerous hotels in Doha, offering a variety of different services and several kinds of levels of amenities. The cheaper, lower end of hotels in Doha offer a full range of customary treatments for the customer, including restaurants in the lobby, swimming pools, Jacuzzis, hair salons, and assistance with booking any sort of event or participatory activity.Doha, looks like a small city, I cannot see any high risers as we drive. The buildings are mostly white and yellow small buildings. I am a little disappointed, but I know I have seen high risers on the internet; I must be at the wrong side of town. I ask the driver whether he can help when my family arrives in a few days and he says that I have to talk to his boss. We arrive to a gated complex. It looks like it is still under construction; at least parts of it look this way. We park the car; a Qatari person approaches me, greeting me and points me towards a 2 story building.

The Khor-Al-Adaid salt-water inlet surrounded by sand dunes is a beautiful tourist attraction in the country. This inland sea is great to visit during the afternoon to enjoy a cool breeze in the hot dessert. Many tourists camp overnight to enjoy the beauty of the entire place.In fact Qatar, with a budget of $2.8 billion, has been heavily preparing the Asian Games because the Qatar Olympic association is eyeing another event: the 2016 Olympics. Therefore the Asian games' failure or success may determine their chance to host the Olympics. For a long time Qatari leaders have been focusing on making Qatar the sports capital of the Middle East.Dubai is called the shopping capital of the Middle East. The city is abounding with shopping malls and souks. Dubai shopping is a heaven for duty free shopping and the products give value for money. Goods such as cars, haute couture, jewelry, sports equipments, furnishing and much more are all available here.
